One of a Kind Details...
Part of what made creating this home stay so much fun was collecting and creating furnishings to accessorize the space. I love to chalk paint and have my own line of paint we sell downstairs at Nest Interiors . I particularly love adding paper products as a detail. This table I created is an old window from a house in New Orleans, cleaned and repainted with my paints "creole tomato" and "bubblegum snoball"; I added hair pin legs plus in each glass pane I decoupaged in pieces of a vintage Louisiana roadmap. This sweet nightstand was a $15 bargain. I mixed colors "spanish moss" and "oyster" for a custom color and then did a white wash. Brand new "vintage style" hardware improved it too...the chevron paper inside; it's wrapping paper I saved! This small 2H cabinet was gifted to me...and not in the best shape. After gluing and clamping to get it structurally secure once again, I painted it in "cotton", a bright
